Bio
Dennis A. Adams is Associate Professor at the Decision and Information Sciences Department. He has published articles in journals such as Interfaces, Journal of Information Systems Research, Data Base, MIS Quarterly, and Information and Management. In addition, Dr. Adams is co-author of books entitled Managing an Information System, Introduction to Business Computing, and Internet for Business.
Dr. Adams has consulted with a wide variety of firms in the public and private sectors in the areas of information system design and management. He has designed and implemented business, scientific, and system software on a wide range of hardware in the public and private sectors. He has worked with many Houston companies as an information technology strategist creating or reviewing long-term strategic plans for their information technology functions and is a frequent commentator on computer industry issues for Houston radio and television stations.
