Assistant Dean for Graduate and Professional Programs
John Reinert is an entrepreneurial and accomplished professional with a successful track record in transition and turnaround roles. His 25 years of experience includes senior level functional leadership in business development, marketing, and customer management, including post-Chapter 11 and M&A environments. Experienced with "Tier One" firms such as Johnson & Johnson, and Clorox, and Del Monte Foods, his roles have included broad leadership responsibilities for multiple retail channels and third party agencies. John spent eight years in NW Arkansas, as a senior multi-functional team leader, focused on the Walmart / Sam's Club business. Over the past five years, John started his own consulting firm, focused on customer management and business development with small to mid-tier firms. John earned his MBA at the Bauer College of Business at the University of Houston. He is a member of the Bauer College Alumni Board, past Co-Chair of the Ted Bauer Golf Classic, and serves on the Bauer College EMBA Advisory Board. He has been active in his local community including several philanthropic leadership roles. John and his wife Jane, an attorney in a corporate role, reside in Houston.
