Jacoby Garcia is Vice President of US Operations for Beijing, China-based Optimization Petroleum Technologies (OPT) www.optpt.com, a provider of petroleum engineering software and consultancy services for reservoir and production engineering processes associated to oil and gas (O&G) exploration and production.
Jacoby has been involved in E&P financial management and E&P technical and business systems sales and implementation for 30 years. From 1982-1995, Jacoby worked in financial analyst roles for leading US O&G producer/ operators such as Mesa Petroleum, Oxy and Santa Fe Energy. Since 1995, when he transitioned into the information technology sector that includes leading US-based O&G technology vendors such as Oracle, Petris Technologies, Quorum Business Solutions and currently, OPT, Jacoby has focused on enabling O&G producers, gatherers and pipeline operators worldwide to understand and realize the value of innovative application-based software technologies for streamlined O&G management.
Jacoby has a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Texas A&M University and an MBA in International Business from St. Thomas University – Cameron School of Business.
