Former UH Student Application Deadlines

"Former" students are considered students who have taken undergraduate courses at UH.

Semester Domestic Students International Students
Spring 2017 December 1, 2016 October 1, 2016
Summer 2017 May 1, 2017 April 1, 2017
Fall 2017 July 7, 2017 June 1, 2017

All application materials, including official transcripts, must be received by the semester deadline dates.

Students who previously completed undergraduate coursework at UH – Central Campus and wish to enter CAP, may apply by General Petition if they have not had an interruption of four consecutive semesters or 13 consecutive months between their last completed coursework at UH and the application semester. Former UH undergraduate students who wish to enter CAP but have not completed a course at UH within that same time period, must use the online application. Also, any former student who left UH while on Academic Suspension must use the online application.

ApplyTexas Former UH Domestic Student Instructions

  1. Apply via www.ApplyTexas.org
  2. 4 year schools – UH Central Campus
  3. Undergraduate Readmission/Former Student
  4. First choice school: BAUER COLLEGE OF BUSINESS
  5. First choice major: Accountancy – CAP Program (PB only)
  6. Pay $50 application fee online & submit application

Please note, it is important that you answer all questions on the application.

Once you have submitted your application, please e-mail applycap@uh.edu to let us know your application ID.

Next, please arrange to have an official transcript from all institutions previously attended sent to the University of Houston. If sending your official transcripts by a 3rd party service such as eSCRIP-SAFE, JST, National Student Clearinghouse, Parchment/DocuFide, ADDS/AVOW, etc. please have them sent to admissions@uh.edu. Transcripts can also be sent directly to the UH Office of Admissions from the Registrar’s office at your school via EDI (SPEEDE/ExPRESS). If mailing the official transcripts, send them directly to the address listed below:

ApplyTexas Former UH International Student Instructions

  1. Go to www.ApplyTexas.org
  2. You will be applying to a 4 year school – University of Houston – Main Campus
  3. Apply as an International Undergraduate Transfer Student-PB ACCY Cert 1
  4. Pay $75 application fee online & submit application
  5. Submit official TOEFL or IELTS test scores - All applicants are required to show proof of English Language Proficiency. For acceptable test scores and/or exemptions go to English Language Proficiency and Exemptions. Scores must be no older than 2 years.

Please note, it is important that you answer all questions on the application.

If you need an I-20 please visit the University of Houston’s Office of Admissions website for a list of documents required for I-20 assurance. The website can be located via the following link: http://www.uh.edu/admissions/

Next, please submit all official transcript(s), mark sheet(s) and degree certificates for each year of attendance from ALL universities and/or college(s) attended. Official academic credentials must be submitted in the original language(s) of issue and with an official English translation. Documents should be mailed to the address below:
