"I'm a first generation college student and the first person in my entire family to earn a bachelor's degree. I chose the UH Bauer Accountancy program because of its recruiting opportunities. I knew I wanted to work for one of the Big Four, and staying here in Houston the home to many oil, gas and energy companies would be a smart move toward a successful career path."
