Morale and Training Committee
Vision & Purpose:
To support, encourage, and develop staff for personal and professional success; to boost staff morale.
Theme: The proposed 2011/2012 theme is Empowerment. We hope to bring empowerment through personal and professional development, which will allow us to positively impact each other and Bauer.
The Morale & Training Committee is responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating staff training programs and activities that increase morale, in accordance with the strategic plan for the College. It also offers staff the opportunity to professionally develop within the officer positions. MTC is committed to bringing everyone together plus growing talent within the college, helping new hires and veterans feel like they are part of the Bauer family. The College is committed to continue staff development. In addition, the MTC would like your help in creating an environment where staff feels valued and are motivated to do their best.

- The 2011-2012 MTC Introductory Meeting will be held on Friday, October 19th from 3p.m. – 4p.m.

Staff Professional Development Fund
There are some funds remaining for staff to submit an application for a professional conference or workshop. Please fill out this form to apply and send to Melissa Luna through inter office mail. From the Wellness Movement:
We had 19 five-member teams in the Step Challenge last spring, and several have expressed interest in another competition this fall. MTC needs at least two staff members to head up this committee, and get us all moving again!

Bauer Carpool Connection
By sharing a ride to work you save money, save time, save aggravation and help save the environment.
Please look over the list of fellow Bauer staff members currently interested in carpooling to work. If you are interested in carpooling, scan the directory for fellow staff members who share a similar schedule and location with your own. From there, it is up to you to begin communication and start a mutually beneficial carpool relationship.
