Morale and Training Committee
Vision & Purpose:
To support, encourage, and develop staff for personal and professional success; to boost staff morale.
The Morale & Training Committee is responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating staff training programs and activities that increase morale, in accordance with the strategic plan for the College. It also offers staff the opportunity to professionally develop within the officer positions. MTC is committed to bringing everyone together plus growing talent within the college, helping new hires and veterans feel like they are part of the Bauer family. The College is committed to continue staff development. In addition, the MTC would like your help in creating an environment where staff feels valued and are motivated to do their best.
Professional Funds:
Professional Development Funds have been utilized 100% and are no longer available. Thanks to all who submitted requests! We were able to accommodate 13 staff members via these funds, which is no small feat. For those of you who were able to participate, we look forward to hearing about your experiences. We will be contacting you shortly with a questionnaire about the event you attended in order to provide us with some feedback.

Membership:
If you would like to get involved, please become a member! We want and NEED your input. The more, the merrier!
Membership is a way for all staff members to be involved with MTC, offer feedback, and help coordinate the events and trainings for the 2012-2013 year. Membership in the Morale and Training Committee is voluntary and open to all employees. Let us know - mtc@bauer.uh.edu.

By sharing a ride to work you save money, save time, save aggravation and help save the environment.
Please look over the list of fellow Bauer staff members currently interested in carpooling to work. If you are interested in carpooling, scan the directory for fellow staff members who share a similar schedule and location with your own. From there, it is up to you to begin communication and start a mutually beneficial carpool relationship.
