Dr. Edward Blair is Professor and Chair in the Department of Marketing & Entrepreneurship in the Bauer College of Business, University of Houston. He also serves on the U.S. Census Bureau Advisory Committee. His current research interests include survey research methods and price information processing by consumers. Dr. Blair is the author of several books, along with numerous research papers that have been published in journals such as the Journal of Marketing, Journal of Marketing Research, Journal of Consumer Research, Public Opinion Quarterly and elsewhere. He has served on the editorial boards of Journal of Marketing Research (JMR), Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science (JAMS) and Journal of Business Research (JBR), and as national conference chair for the American Marketing Association Educators' Conference. Dr. Blair has taught in a variety of professional programs, including the American Marketing Association's School of Marketing Research (for research professionals) and Advanced Research Techniques Forum. He also has served as a consultant to various companies and as an expert witness in various lawsuits.
