What is an Information System?
Information System is interrelated components working together to collect, process, store, and disseminate information to support decision making, co-ordination, control, analysis, and visualization of an organization.
Input is the capture and collection or raw data from within the organization or from its external environment for processing in an information system
Processing is the conversion, manipulation, and analysis of raw input into a form more meaningful to humans
Output is the distribution of information to the people or activities where it will be used
Feedback is output that is returned to the appropriate members of the organization to help the evaluate or correct the input
