I am proud to share two stories in which the Marketing Science Institute (MSI) has recently honored Bauer faculty. The first story features our newest MSI Fellow, Dr. Sam Hui. In our second story, we showcase a research article by Dr. Rex Du that was nominated for a MSI best paper award. Our final story is based on recent COVID-related research by Dr. Craig Pirrong from the Finance department at Bauer.

Associate Professor Sam Hui Named Marketing Science Institute Scholar

C. T. Bauer College of Business Associate Professor Sam Hui has been named a Marketing Science Institute (MSI) Scholar, which recognizes top scholars whose research is practically relevant for the fields of marketing and marketing research. Hui previously was an MSI Young Scholar, which recognizes top young scholars in the field.

Professor Rex Du Nominated for Robert D. Buzzell Marketing Science Institute Best Paper Award

C. T. Bauer College of Business Professor Rex Du has been nominated for the Robert D. Buzzell Marketing Science Institute Best Paper Award for the paper, "Advertising and Brand Attitudes: Evidence from 575 Brands over Five Years," published in Quantitative Marketing and Economics. The award honors a paper that has made the most significant contribution to marketing practice and thought.

Bauer Research Looks at Implications of COVID on Dodd-Frank Act Derivatives

C. T. Bauer College of Business Finance Professor Craig Pirrong continues to challenge the conventional wisdom about the Dodd-Frank Act in a recently published article in the Journal of Applied Corporate Finance, "Apocalypse Averted: The COVID-Caused Liquidity Trap, Dodd-Frank, and the Fed."
