Stages of Decision Making
Intelligence refers to identifying the problems occurring in the organization. Intelligence indicates why, where, and with what effects situation occurs. Intelligence refers to a broad set of information-gathering activities (Sherlock Holmes, Hercule Poirot, Miss Marple).
Design refers to the second stage of decision making. It
refers to designing possible solutions to the problems (police force, layers, court)
Choice refers to choosing among alternatives (jury)
Implementation refers to using a system that delivers a routine answer (a telephone book)
