Lump Sum Positions

Paperwork is prepared by department Coordinators. Business office certifies and forwards to Human Resources. Employees must go to HR for I-9 certification. All TA, TF, RA, ASA, Lecturers and non-benefit part time temporary positions are Lump-sum positions

I-9 Completion

All new employees must go to HR at least 5 days before their start date in order to complete an I-9 form.  ePARs will not be posted by Human Resources until both an I-9 and payroll direct deposit account have been completed

Additional Compensation

An employee on a 9 month contract can earn an additional 3 month salary, plus 20% of their annual salary or 15000.00 which ever is greater. If the 3 month salary is taken in the summer, no prior approval is needed. This amount will be reduced by any additional compensation received during the year. Additional comp rates can not exceed regular per month rate for a given month.
