Certificate in Sales Leadership
This certificate program will improve your effectiveness in selling yourself, your ideas, and your company’s goods and services. It also will improve your understanding of how to manage customer relationships, especially business-to-business relationships with strategic customers, and how to lead a sales force. This is an excellent program for:
- Students who would like to move into selling careers (including students who are in technical positions and would like to move into selling/business development as a way of broadening and advancing their careers).

Certificate in Product Management
(Brand Management or New Product Development Option)
This certificate program will improve your general marketing capabilities, based on a three step process for identifying, delivering and communicating value to your customers.
- Step 1 is to use market information to understand customer needs, customer perceptions, and the competitive landscape so you can identify a value proposition that fits your organization and will be well received in the market.
- Step 2 is to deliver on that value proposition by ensuring that all aspects of your current products and business practices are consistent with the value proposition and by developing new products that deliver on the value proposition.
- Step 3 is to communicate your value to customers in a compelling, relevant way.
This is an excellent program for students who want to improve their general marketing skills. It includes an option for the second course: Brand Management for a focus on managing the existing product line and/or New Product Development for a focus on product development. Take either or both.

Certificate in Marketing Analysis
This certificate program will improve your analytical marketing capabilities and decision making skills. Good marketing decisions are not just based on opinion, they are based on analysis, and this certificate will give you the tools to conduct that analysis. It includes;
- A course in market research, which addresses how to gather and use a wide variety of market information including customer preferences, customer satisfaction, competitive positions, and likely response to new products;
- A course in customer relationship management, which addresses how to use customer information to improve customer lifetime value; and
- A course in pricing, which addresses how to price for maximum profits.
This is an excellent program for:
- Students who work in marketing and want to improve their ability to make analytic, fact-based decisions.
- Students with analytic backgrounds who would like to move into marketing careers.
