Program Structure
Tailoring Your Education to Your Goals: Should I apply for the MS or MBA?
- The MS program, with its 30 credit hours, offers a streamlined and cost-effective option compared to the 48 credit hours required for the MBA.
- The MS program's focused curriculum includes 24 hours dedicated to sales and 6 hours of asynchronous Management electives.
- On the other hand, the MBA boasts 21 core requirements encompassing economics, MIS, supply chain, finance, management, accounting, and statistics, along with 27 hours of elective courses.
Choosing the Right Fit for You: Which Program Is Better?
- Your decision between MS and MBA should reflect your individual preferences, aspirations, and career development needs.
- If you're passionate about sales and aspire to be recognized as a sales leader and expert, the MS program aligns perfectly with your goals.
- Conversely, if you seek comprehensive knowledge spanning various business domains, the MBA could be your ideal choice.
Flexible Learning: Can You Set Your Own Pace With Coursework?
- The answer is both yes and no. You have the flexibility to tackle asynchronous course material, allowing you to watch lectures or complete assignments at your convenience.
- However, please note that the program operates on a cohort-based model. You'll progress through your sales classes alongside your fellow classmates in the same sections.
Course Delivery: Is Coursework Synchronous or Asynchronous?
- Embrace a balanced learning experience with a combination of virtual synchronous (live) and asynchronous (on-your schedule) coursework and classes delivered by our expert Sales professors.
- The 6 hours of Management electives are thoughtfully designed to be asynchronous, offering you even more flexibility in your schedule.
In-Person Classes: What Are Your Options?
- The MS in Sales Leadership is exclusively an online program, eliminating the need for on-campus or residency commitments.
The Capstone Project: What Does It Consist Of?
- During the final 8 months of the program (from January through August), you'll embark on a personalized journey. Collaborate on your schedule, one-on-one, with a dedicated faculty member to develop a sales leadership solution addressing real challenges in your current or future career.
Program Duration and Summer Courses: What’s The Time-Frame?
- Expect a comprehensive 12-month program that includes required summer coursework. This ensures a well-rounded and immersive educational experience.
