The American Marketing Association’s Marketer of the Year Award (MOTY) recognizes marketing teams across Texas for their yearly marketing initiatives. According to AMA Houston, MOTY distinguishes the top performers in the Texas marketing community for doing what they do best — branding a company, reaching a new audience, growing the business and changing perceptions.
“Our goal is to be the very best in every area of research and learning,” said Bauer College Dean Latha Ramchand. “To this end, we recruit talented individuals who are deeply committed to our mission. This award is one manifestation of the pride and passion that these individuals bring to bear on what they do.”
Bauer’s Office of Communications was announced as the MOTY Education category winner at an awards ceremony on Dec. 4 at the Museum of Natural Science.
To be nominated for the award, finalists were asked questions about their marketing initiatives, the challenges faced in their industry and how they worked together as a team and contributed to the overall success of the organization.
“This is a special award because it recognizes the strength of our team,” executive director of communications Jessica Navarro said. “We’ve worked over the last several years to develop integrated campaigns that leverage the talents of each member of our team to tell the Bauer story in creative and engaging ways.”
