Bio

Sara Brown serves as the chief business officer of Bauer College. Reporting dually to the college dean and the associate provost of finance and administration for UH, she is a member of the Dean's Cabinet, serving as a resource to the dean, associate deans, assistant deans and department chairs on strategic financial and administrative matters, as well as policies and program development. Sara represents the College and Division of Academic Affairs on committees and in other administrative contexts, both internal and external to the University. She is responsible for creation and execution of ~$70M annual budget, all financial operations, facilities management, hiring and compensation, as well as regulatory and policy compliance. Sara received a BS in Psychology from the University of Houston and an MBA from the Bauer College. She is a previous recipient of the Dean's Excellence Award and CBA Non-Exempt Staff Award.
