Course Description

This course aims to help learners become more trustworthy and credible, enhancing their personal and professional relationships and contributing to their success. The workshop uses group experiential exercises and team-building activities to teach participants the knowledge, skills, and strategies to establish and maintain trust and credibility. Effective spoken communication requires trust, as it makes the speaker believable, credible, and likable, which is essential for message delivery. Research indicates that trust consists of four main components and can be learned as a skill. The workshop equips participants with the tools needed to communicate trust and credibility effectively.

  • Module #1 Understanding the importance of trust and credibility in various contexts
  • Module #2 Identifying factors that influence trust and credibility
  • Module #3 Developing strategies for building and maintaining trust and credibility

By the end of the day

Participants will have a greater understanding of the following:

  • The Importance of Trust and Credibility: Understanding why trust and credibility are essential for effective communication and relationship-building.
  • Components of Trust: Identifying the main components of trust and how they influence perceptions.
  • Communication Strategies: Acquiring skills to communicate in ways that establish and maintain trust and credibility.
  • Practical Application: Engaging in group experiential exercises and team-building activities to practice and reinforce these skills.
  • Tools and Techniques: Gaining practical tools to apply in various contexts to enhance trust and credibility daily.
