Rajkamal Vasu joined the Bauer College of Business at the University of Houston in the Fall of 2018 after receiving his Ph.D. in finance from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. He also holds an MBA in finance from the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow, and a Bachelor of Technology in electrical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. His research employs mechanism design and contract theory to analyse problems in corporate finance, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions. He is also keenly interested in economic history and the economics of innovation.
