Bio
Oliver Blanco is the Assistant Director of Employer Relations at the Rockwell Career Center (RCC) with the C.T. Bauer College of Business, University of Houston (UH). Before joining the Employer Relations team, Oliver was with the RCC Graduate Career Counseling team between 2013 – 2020 and the RCC Undergraduate Career Counseling team between 2007 – 2013. Before RCC, he worked in human resources with the Houston Independent School District. Employers collaborate with Oliver to develop strategic campus recruitment plans and connect with Bauer BBA, MBA, and MS talent. A proud UH alum, he firmly believes in strong community engagement with the Houston Food Bank, H.E.A.R.T. Program, Houston Hispanic Forum, OUT for Education, Trees for Houston, TrashBash, Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, and Houston L.U.L.A.C. National Educational Service Centers, Inc. He is a Cougar Ally, trained to increase the safety and comfort level of LGBTQIA+ students at UH.
