Mohan Kuruvilla
Associate Dean of Corporate and Alumni Engagement


Mohan Kuruvilla is the Associate Dean of Corporate and Alumni Engagement and a faculty member in the Department of Accountancy & Taxation.
Prior to this role, he served as director of Bauer’s MSACCY Program and the Certificate in Accountancy Program. He also served as the dean of the School of Business and professor at Houston Christian University for six years and prior to that, he was a director with KPMG for three years.
Kuruvilla is a Certified Public Accountant, a Certified Management Accountant and a Chartered Accountant. He holds an MBA in Finance and a Ph.D. in Accounting from the University of Houston. He served as Chair of the Texas Society of Certified Public accountants (“TXCPA”) for 2024-25 and is a past president for TXCPA Houston chapter.
He is a member of the Board of Directors of Data Tracks Services Limited and Premex Solutions Inc. He has several publications and interviews to his credit on various business and accounting issues in Wall Street Journal, NPR, HBJ and other media channels. He has also had consulting assignments with several companies in the United States and other parts of the world. Kuruvilla has been involved with several non-profit organizations over the years, including serving on the Board of Asian American Family Services and Indo-American Charity Foundation.
