Real Estate Finance Track
The UH Bauer Real Estate degree program was built by Houston’s real estate professionals to prepare students to become leaders in the industry. Practicing real estate professionals serve as faculty bringing their expertise to the classroom. Students become members of the real estate community through professional development: internships, mentorships, scholarships, professional organization membership and career services.
MS Finance students have the option to specialize their knowledge of finance for careers in the real estate sector by acquiring industry-specific knowledge of the economics and institutional features of the real estate sector, project development and real estate finance. The real estate specialization requires 12 credits from the following real estate electives:

Students seeking a real estate finance specialization may substitute the above electives into either the corporate finance track or the investments and portfolio management track.
