Multiple Faculty Positions in Emerging Areas of Excellence
The C. T. Bauer College of Business at the University of Houston seeks qualified applicants for up to five open-rank faculty positions across all departments starting in the fall of 2020. This cluster faculty hiring is part of an ambitious plan for the Bauer College to grow along emerging areas of excellence that support the strategic vision of the Bauer College. Accordingly, we are seeking outstanding faculty in emerging areas, such as business analytics (e.g., audit, human resources, sustainable energy, healthcare, sales), innovation (e.g., fintech, entrepreneurship, healthcare), technology (e.g., machine learning, management of artificial intelligence), and diversity and inclusive leadership.
Ideal candidates must hold a Ph.D. (or A.B.D.) in business disciplines or related disciplines and exhibit promise for high-quality research and teaching.
The C. T. Bauer College of Business also has plans to consider several qualified applicants for additional tenure-track positions across each of the five departments at different levels and ranks, whose research relates to strategic areas of focus of each department, for a total of ten faculty positions across the college. The C. T. Bauer College of Business is AACSB accredited with over 5,700 undergraduate and 800 graduate students pursuing BBA, MBA, Executive MBA, Masters in accountancy, finance, energy management, marketing and supply chain degrees; and PhD.
