Academic Eligibility

I completed my undergraduate degree in Fall 2023, am I eligible?
No, DFASP is only available for students that are pursuing their undergraduate baccalaureate degree at the time of consideration.

My undergraduate degree is in a major outside of accounting, but I have a minor in accounting, do I qualify?
To meet the eligibility requirements, an applicant must be pursuing an undergraduate degree in accounting at the time of consideration.

My undergraduate degree is in a major outside of accounting, but I am currently enrolled in the Certificate in Accountancy Program (CAP), do I qualify?
No. To meet the eligibility requirements, an applicant must be pursuing an undergraduate degree in accounting at the time of consideration.

My cumulative GPA is slightly below 3.0 but it will meet the 3.0 threshold by the time I graduate, am I still eligible?
No, your undergraduate cumulative GPA must be a 3.0 or higher at the time of consideration. Additionally, GPAs are not rounded (i.e. a 2.98 GPA does not meet the requirement).
Deadlines

I applied to the MSACCY program before March 8th, but some application materials were submitted after, can I still be considered?
No, the MSACCY application and all application materials must be submitted and received no later than March 8, 2024. This deadline was selected to make sure there is enough time for an admissions decision to be made prior to the scholarship committee reviewing DFASP applications.

I missed the scholarship application deadline; can I still be considered?
To ensure the scholarship committee has ample time to review the submitted applications, no exceptions will be made.

I’ve started the process to be granted permanent residency, but I am not a permanent resident yet. Do I qualify?
No, you must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident at the time of consideration.

I was selected as Deloitte Foundation Accounting Scholar at another university, can I transfer my scholarship to Bauer?
No, DFASP is not transferrable to another university.
