Bauer Involvement Fair
Date: Monday, August 31st – September 3rd

Description: Your one-stop introduction to everything Bauer has to offer beyond the classroom. Browse student organizations, discover resources, and talk directly with the people behind them. Whether you already know what you're looking for or you're still figuring it out, this is where it starts.
ELASP for Transfers: Ready, Set, Engage! Kick-Off Event

Description: Your official welcome to Bauer and the start of the ELASP for Transfers program. Meet the people running it, get a clear picture of what's ahead, and connect with other transfer students who are navigating the same transition you are.
ELASP for Transfers: Highlighter Party
Date: Thursday, September 3rd
Time: 4:00 – 5:00 PM
Location: CBB 510
Description: Grab a highlighter and map out your semester. You'll walk through key ELASP dates, get your calendar organized, and meet program staff and fellow transfers in a low-pressure setting. It's part planning session, part introduction — and a good reason to show up early in the semester.
ELASP for Transfers: Insight Sessions
Dates: September 8th – September 11th
Description: Small-group sessions that walk you through how the ELASP program works, what's expected, and what support is available to you. Multiple times are offered so you can find one that fits your schedule. Pick one and sign up.

Description: How do you introduce yourself when it matters? This session helps you define your professional identity — from a sharp elevator pitch to an online presence that actually represents who you are and where you're headed.
ELASP: The Hot Seat w/ Student Orgs
Date: Thursday, September 10th
Time: 5:30 – 7:00 PM

Description: Missed the Involvement Fair — or left with more questions than answers? Student org leaders take the hot seat and answer whatever you want to know in a fast-paced, speed-dating-style session. Rotate through organizations, ask the real questions, and walk away knowing exactly where you belong.
ELASP: Career Fair Prep & Relationship Building

Description: The career fair is three days away. Get ready by learning how to research the companies that'll be there, how to talk about yourself without sounding rehearsed, and how to turn a two-minute conversation into a lasting professional connection.
ELASP: How to Get an Internship Panel

Description: Students who've landed internships and professionals who've hired for them break down what actually works — from where to search and how to apply to what makes someone stand out in an interview. Bring your questions. These are people who've been exactly where you are.
RCC Career Fair

Description: The Rockwell Career Center's signature recruiting event brings dozens of employers to campus actively hiring Bauer students for internships and full-time positions. Come with your résumé ready and a few target companies in mind.
ELASP for Transfers: Job Search Strategy & LinkedIn Advanced

Description: You've done the career fair. Now keep the momentum going. This session covers advanced job-search tactics and shows you how to optimize your LinkedIn profile so recruiters actually find you — not the other way around.

Description: Get a polished, professional headshot taken for free — perfect for LinkedIn, applications, and anywhere else you need to look the part. Stick around to network and put those new headshots to use by making some real connections.

ELASP for Transfers: Interview Like a #BauerBoss Workshop
Date: Wednesday, October 7th
Time: 4:00 – 5:00 PM

Description: A hands-on session where you'll practice answering common interview questions, sharpen your delivery, and learn the techniques that help you walk into any interview room with confidence instead of nerves.
Off-Week: October 12 – 16
No programming — focus on mid-terms and mentor meetings.
ELASP: Bowling at the Student Center
Date: Tuesday, October 20th
Time: 5:30 – 7:00 PM
Location: Student Center South
Description: Midterms are behind you (or close enough). Take a break, grab a lane, and spend the evening bowling with other students. Skill level is irrelevant. Showing up is the whole point.
ELASP for Transfers: Class Scheduling w/ Students

Description: Spring registration is coming up fast. Get guidance on picking the right classes, hear from students who've been through it, and plan your next semester with advisors and peers on hand to help. There will be something sweet to make the process easier.

Description: Finals don't have to wreck you. This session covers practical study strategies, time management, and wellness resources to help you manage the stress and finish the semester feeling good about how you showed up.

Description: A virtual hang with the ELASP community — no agenda, no presentations. Drop in, catch up with people you've met throughout the semester, share some wins, and stay connected without leaving your couch.
ELASP: Painting Social
Date: Wednesday, November 11th
Time: 5:00 – 7:00 PM

Description: The end of the semester is coming in fast. Slow down for a couple of hours with a guided painting session — no experience needed, no pressure to produce a masterpiece. Just a chance to decompress and do something that isn't a group project.
