For Bauer First-Year LLC Only

Students who live in the Bauer First-Year LLC have the opportunity to take classes in their first year with their LLC peers. See below for information regarding the two common classes that we offer, USS 1301 and ENGL 1301. Note that these are all classes required in order to file a degree plan and declare a major at C. T. Bauer College of Business.

USS 1301 - College Success

Students in the Bauer First-Year LLC will enroll in the same section of USS 1301 College Success, which satisfies UH Core Writing in the Discipline.

ENGL 1301 - First Year Writing

This course is all about finding your own voice, analyzing information, and synthesizing new ideas.

*If you are an Honors student in the Bauer First-Year LLC, you do not need to enroll in these courses.
