1. Do I have to be a business major to apply for the Bauer Living Learning Communities?

Yes, you must be Pre-Business to be admitted to the Bauer First-Year LLC and you must be a sophomore, junior or senior majoring in a business field to be in the Bauer House LLC.

2. Can I pick my roommate?

You may choose your roommate if they also apply and meet the qualifications to be in either of the Bauer LLCs.

3. Can I live somewhere else and still participate in the LLC events?

Unfortunately, no. Participation in the Living Learning Community requires students to live in the designated LLC residence hall. The program is designed to create a shared experience where students live, learn, and engage together, so living in the community is essential for full participation.

4. I am in the Honors College; can I still join the Bauer LLCs?

Yes, if you are an honors student, you can still join a Bauer LLC.

5. When is the application deadline?

Incoming freshman students must apply to the Bauer First-Year LLC before June 30th. Returning students must apply to the Bauer House LLC before June 1st. Students will apply through their myHousing application in their AccessUH account.
